Four of us romped around Hitchcock Hills on a hearty Fall afternoon. We did about six miles and my son Nick went! He had fun sloshing through piles of leaves and distributing them on my head. At the end of the hike we had one last steep hill to climb; I thought I was going to have to carry him up that hill, but he made it.
