This was really a Scrhamm State Park Hike but the trails there are only 3 miles so we wandered over to Platte River State Park to do an additional 3 miles of hiking. The picture above was taken from the top of the 85' observation tower at the Platte River Park looking downstream (east) at the river.

This was also a very special day for Ronda Nelson, who led the trip. Ronda did her provisional lead, the last requirement for becoming an MVG local leader. Congratulations Ronda!
