Hiker Report: Iowa's Waubonsie State Park -- Saturday, 01 March 2008

We caught a spring day in the middle of winter. Temperatures hit 68 degrees which made for a beautiful day but muddy trails. At the end of this hike we ate a late lunch in a picnic area within the park and were treated to migrating geese which completely covered the sky from north to south. I forgot to bring my camera but was provided the following pictures from Scott Kemper. There must have been something in the air that day, look at the women!
